Aviation: Learn about airplanes, helicopters, the Wright brothers, Amelia Earhart, and more.
Caves and Rocks: Check out these books about caves and different types of rocks.

United States & World History

1930s: Learn about the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl, and popular people during this time period, or check out a fiction book that is set during the 1930s.
1940s: Learn about Pearl Harbor, World War II, and important people of this time period. This list also includes books set in the 1940s as well as books published during the 1940s.

Playaway Bookpacks

Thanks to a grant from The Kiwanis Club of Barberton, children, parents and teachers now have access to Playaway bookpacks at the Barberton Public Library.

Trading Card Game Club

Pokemon Club will be evolving this fall! Starting in September, it will be called Trading Card Game Club. Kids can bring a variety of trading cards, such as Pokemon cards, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, Bakugan Battle Brawlers and cards and more to the library to share, battle, and with parental permission, trade!
