Summit Bike Share

Ride. Return. Repeat.

Share bikes with the Library and Summit Bike Share.

The Library has partnered with the Ohio Erie Canalway Coalition and their exciting initiative, Summit Bike Share. This program is aimed at promoting bicycles as both a practical mode of transportation and a source of recreational joy within our community. Explore our city on two wheels with ease and convenience. Stop by our Circulation Desk to learn more!

Bikes are available at the Library from May through October.

Please note the following when borrowing a bike from the Barberton Public Library:  A valid state ID and cellphone number are required. Borrowers must be 18 years or older. Younger riders must be accompanied by an adult. Bikes may be borrowed for up to three hours and must be returned either one hour before the Library closes or one hour before sunset, whichever is earliest.
