Can I use my Akron card?
No. Barberton Public Library is a separate and independent library from the Akron-Summit County Public Library system. Much like you cannot use your Giant Eagle card at an Acme store, you cannot use your Akron card, which includes Norton, Kenmore, and Portage Lakes branches, at Barberton Library.
As an Ohio resident, you may have both cards from both libraries. Barberton Library is not limited to Barberton residents. Get a Barberton Library card.
