Join us for a night of Pokémon Go. We will take a walk around the Library to catch all of the Pokémon, and visit the nearby Pokéstops. Along with all the Pokémon captures, you can decorate a cookie to look just like a pokéball or in your team colors. Share tips and tricks with other trainers on pokétraining and more.

Meet Local Author Amanda Flower

Amanda Flower, a three-time Agatha Award-nominated mystery author, started her writing career in elementary school when she read a story she wrote to her sixth grade class and had the class in stitches with her description of being stuck on the top of a Ferris wheel. She knew at that moment she’d found her calling of making people laugh with her words.

Civil War and Emancipation with Michael Kovacevich

Join us to watch history come alive during Michael Kovacevich's lecture of the Civil War and Emancipation. Michael has spoken to variety of historical and Civil War societies, schools, and other organizations to share his passion. Mike makes every effort to make history come alive to his audiences, and to educate people about events and individuals that he feels need to receive more recognition.
