Join Librarian Paula as she presents the history of St. Patrick's Day, which is the observance of the death of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. The holiday has evolved into a celebration of Irish culture with parades, special foods, music, dancing, drinking and a whole lot of green. This program will be presented on Facebook Live.

Peralta, University of Akron Professor of Sociology, discusses gender as a social construct, the existence of identities beyond the gender binary (female, male), and ways to be respectful of people existing across the spectrum of gender identities. His discussion will focus health behavior and gender identity. This program will be presented on Facebook Live.

Let's send a little love to brighten the spirits of our Barberton seniors who are homebound or in local senior homes. Many of us are feeling isolated during this pandemic, but it has been especially difficult for our seniors who are in residential care. To combat this, we are calling out to our Barberton Library community to make handmade Valentine's for these special people.

What is a charcuterie board? Traditionally a selection of cured meats, charcuterie boards have recently evolved to include cheese, crackers, and other delicious foods. Librarian Sarah will show you how to put together a charcuterie board.

Chad Kusner from Credit Repair Resources, LLC, will cover the importance of having good credit, factors that affect your credit, and how to improve your credit. This program will be streamed on Facebook Live.

One of the top New Year's resolutions! This program will be presented by the University of Akron School of Nutrition and Dietetics and will be streamed on Facebook Live.

Author David Giffels will discuss his latest book Barnstorming Ohio: to Understand America. This program will be presented on Facebook Live.
