Donate to the Library
The Barberton Public Library has been an integral part of the Barberton community since 1903. Any charitable financial contribution assists us in achieving this goal and maintaining a welcoming environment for all. With the community’s support and generosity, the Library can provide extra resources, build library collections, and grow.

These donations help us: 
- Support literacy and lifelong learning
- Promote art and culture
- Build library collections
- Fund library special projects and programs

To donate to the Library, please fill out the attached form at the bottom of this page or click here.  Bring this form and your donation to the Customer Services desk at the Library or mail your donation to the Library. All donors recieve an acknowledgement of their gift that may be used for tax purposes.

Donor Wall
Donations in excess of $250 are displayed on the Library’s donor wall. This option is available for local organizations’ donations, donations to memorialize loved ones, to show your support, and more. The name of the donor, organization, or person to be honored will be engraved on a book spine in accordance with the amount of money donated. The design of the book spine engraving can be customized based on donor recommendations, to the best of our abilities. 

When making a donation for our donor wall, please specify the wording and design you would like engraved in the book spine. If you have any questions about what is able to be engraved on the book spine, please contact our Deputy Fiscal Officer at melissa.futrell@barbertonlibrary.org 

Memorial Donations
A memorial donation may be made to commemorate a special occasion. Such as, the birth of a child or honoring the life of a special person. For a donation of $25 up to $249, a memorial plate will be placed on an item in our collection. If a donor would like to specify a genre or subject matter that they would like the memorial plate to be placed on, we will abide by the donor’s wishes to the best of our abilities. 

Bequests
A will or trust may designate a particular gift to the Library. Such contributions can take the form of money, stocks, bonds, real estate, or other assets. It is also possible to give a percentage or excess of your estate, after all the other terms of the will or trust have been satisfied.  We are happy to work with you to determine the best way to manage your gift.  Please contact Ann Hutchison at 330-745-1194, ext. 1430 or ann.hutchison@barbertonlibrary.org .

Now & Forever Fund
The Barberton Community Foundation worked with the Library's Board of Trustees to establish the Now & Forever Fund. This fund was established to receive donations for the preservation of the Barberton Public Library, beyond the level of taxpayer responsibility. This fund may recieve donations from individuals, organizations, and corporations. 

The Now & Forever Fund is located at the Barberton Community Foundation and interested donors may make a contribution online. Click this link to be redirected to the Now & Forever fund.  

If you are interested in mailing a donation to this fund, checks should be made payable to Barberton Community Foundation, with a notation in the memo line of the check that the donation is for the Barberton Public Library Now & Forever Fund. Gifts can be mailed to:
